Since 1959, the Kieler Woche has held an annual corporate design competition. In 2008, the jury chose the design by Peter Zizka.

The construction of vectors, which only appear abstract at first glance, associatively convey the dynamic modernity of the Kieler Woche and its festivities on the shore, without losing sight of the actual focus of the event - sailing. The interplay of the arrows signals the strength of the individual in a group that has one goal and unites different currents.
