It is both an immense honor and great challenge to follow in the footstep of the likes of design greats such as Stankowski + Duschek.
Heine/Lenz/Zizka was invited by Viessmann – a leading international producer of heating technology systems – to work on various themes and communicative concepts that ranged from a subtle refinement of the graphical language used for the company’s annual calendar, for example, to the development of emblematic and informative pictograms for the firm’s customer service department and the key visual for its presence at the ISH trade fair in Frankfurt.
The ISH is the world’s leading trade fair for bathrooms, building services, energy, air conditioning technology, and renewable energies.
As one of the industry’s “big players”, Viessman was looking for an eye-catching and self-assured presence at the ISH. Atelier Markgraph designed the stand and we created the key visual, which was prominently displayed on the company’s fair booth, around the grounds of the venue, and on a variety of merchandising articles. The three leading themes at the ISH – “Culture of Innovation”, “Increased Product Utility” and “Dedicated to Climate Protection”– were graphically interpreted within an abstract space in what was both an interpretation and a careful refinement of Viessmann’s typical graphical language, providing an extremely striking presence for the brand.
