Fake Food – Food between appearance and reality
Strawberry flavor from mold, superfood from a tube: The “Fake Food” exhibition explores the authenticity, sustainability and cultural influence of our diet. Heine Lenz Zizka developed an exciting campaign for the museums of the city of Bamberg that visually translates the multifaceted nature of the presentation.
How “real” is our food? While in the 18th century fine vegetables were made from porcelain to look deceptively real, today's methods of “faking” food are more varied and sophisticated.
The exhibition juxtaposes faience from the Baroque period with today's eating culture and our approach to food. Uniting these opposites became the heart of the visuality, which combines the diversity of the content both statically and in motion.
“Heine Lenz Zizka impressively and very attractively transforms the themes of our exhibition into the visuality of the campaign as a dynamic combination of real and fake, yesterday and today.”
